The TALOS – AI4SSH project has opened a new call for 2 funded postdoctoral positions at the University of Crete, offering an excellent opportunity for researchers working at the intersection of AI, Computational Linguistics, Digital Humanities, and Cultural Heritage.

Based at the Gallos Campus in Rethymno, the positions are part of the TALOS ERA Chair project and involve research across semantic annotation, digital cultural heritage, corpus analysis, digital education, HAI-NLP software for SSH, and FAIR data standards.

The call is addressed to candidates with a PhD in Computational Linguistics, Digital Humanities, Computer Science, or Artificial Intelligence with applications in Digital Humanities or Cultural Heritage, a Master’s degree or integrated master in Philology, Linguistics, Computer Science, Information Science, or Digital Humanities, and excellent knowledge of English (C2). Publications in Computational Linguistics or Digital Humanities, as well as experience with web technologies, will be especially valued.
