How to Apply!
Students will be taught by a team of international experts, have the chance to study in four fantastic locations throughout Europe and gain the skills required to address an issue of global importance: food security through sustainable aquaculture production.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for students which will allow them to
1. Study in up to four centres of European excellence for Aquaculture studies – Scotland (Oban), Greece (Crete), France (Nante) and the Netherlands.
2. Work closely with industry and business in the world of Aquaculture and
3. Gain a Master degree through a highly prestigious European education programme supported by Erasmus Plus (previously Erasmus Mundus)
We are now recruiting our next intake of Erasmus Mundus students. If you wish to apply for a place on the EMJMD ACES+ for this intake starting in September 2022, please contact us at ACES@sams.ac.uk. Applications from EU and non-EU applicants are welcome – the course is aimed at students from all over the world. The closing date for applications is 28 February 2022.
We are also accepting applications from applicants who are able to self-fund their studies. The cost of tuition fees per academic year is €5000 for international/non-EU students and €2500 for EU/UK students.

You should have a background in marine science or biology, fisheries, aquaculture, aquatic science and/or environmental studies, and you must complete in full two application forms – a University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) and ACES application form. Once you have completed the forms, please email these, along with all supporting documents, as a single PDF file to us at ACES@sams.ac.uk

ERASMUS MUNDUS SCHOLARSHIP UPDATE
We are in the process of applying to the EU for further scholarships and, if successful, we will re-open our call for further applications during the summer of 2022. If you apply by 28th February 2022 and you are offered a place on the course, you will be placed on a reserve list for a scholarship, subject to EU eligibility requirements.
These scholarships are funded by the EACEA of the European Union and will meet the cost of tuition fees, provide a contribution towards travel and relocation and a contribution towards daily living expenses. Please note: Erasmus Mundus scholarships are subject to availability.
